Blacklight Tango Down
A decent XBLA FPS that gives quite a lot for your 1200ms points. This title is fully online, there are no single player mission. This title makes use of the Unreal Engine and that can literally be seen by the not so snazzy graphics and the floating sensation when moving. But don't let that put you off, once you are in a game of Team Deathmatch then you are in for an oldskool experience like no other. Ranking is limited to 70, but this will take some time to attain. There are plenty of unlockables, however the indication of when items have been unlocked are weak and it doesn't really tell you what's new when looking in the Armoury. You have to trawl through all of the options just to discover that new weapon, or sight, or camo, or magazine, or muzzel. The community seems to be quite small at the moment, so getting a game can take a few minutes. But again don't let that put you off this game is one for the true FPS gamers and you shouldn't let this slip you by. With 12 maps from the off, some small others larger then this will again take sometime to find the sweet spots where you can camp (MW2) or ambush (BFBC2). Have fun. 8/10 |
