OK where do I start...... this game is madness in the extreme. Zombies everywhere!!! Very much like a game version of 28 days later, this title is rooted heavily in the aspect of team play either via co-operative mode or online. There are 4 members in your team and the basic level of play is to survive, to make it from one area to the next making sure to close the door after you. There are a various array of weapons from pistols and machine guns, through to molotovs and grenades. Zombies are a plenty and there are special ones like Boomers (Who are sick on you), Smokers (who try to grab you with their tongue to strangle you) and Hunters (who jump from hidden places and try to rip you to shreds). Other teams members can choose to heal you if your life is running low, but at the beginning of each round you can grab a health pack which should suffice as long as you are not gung-ho and tackle the witches. The end of each level see you having to fend off as many zombies, hunter, smokers, boomers as possible before you are lifted to safety. That is you have to clear the area before you can be rescued. Online play Started in a survival game and didn't have a clue what was going on, we were being shot at continually though we were not the infected party. Moved on to a co-op game and this was much better, though you couldn't definite tell that we were noobs at the game as we were left behind practically all of the time. We would love to play this game more but found that we suffered quite a bit of Motion Sickness whilst playing so would not recommend this title if you are susceptible. 7/10 |
