Ginx TV announced that Udi Shapira, co-founder and MD Content, has resigned from his day-to day operational duties.
Mr Shapira has been instrumental in developing videogaming-television and saw Ginx TV through the first stages of its growth, with launches of the channel in Indonesia and Turkey, as well as programming output deals in the UK, Africa and Spain.
With Ginx TV now established and growing rapidly, Mr Shapira has decided to resign from his day-to-day role and pursue other interests. He will remain as a shareholder and board director.
Commented Michiel Bakker, Ginx TV CEO: “We are grateful for Udi’s tremendous contribution to Ginx. His passion and commitment to the ‘cause’ will be missed, but we wish him well with his new beginnings.”
“Taking Ginx TV from an idea on the back of an envelope and turning it into an international TV channel has been an amazing adventure. Now the time is right for me to seek a new challenge. I leave behind a great team that, without a doubt, will take the business to the next level.” Udi Shapira commented.
